Alex is the protagonist of the "Can You Keep A Secret?" series. She is the best friend of Ashley and Angelica, the wife of Zach, and the mother of Diana.

History

Alex's first appearance in this series is in “I Caught My Boyfriend Cheating On Me...” when she was rushing to the train station as the train had arrived. It stated that Alex wanted to give a Christmas present to her boyfriend, Jax.

On the train, she meets two girls, Ashley and Angelica. Angelica says that her outfit looks ugly, and Ashley tells Alex about Angelica's personality. Angelica just huffs and tells the two girls that both their outfits are ugly.

Alex then exits the train and goes off to find her boyfriend, and comes across a boy, Zach. After she finds out that her boyfriend cheated on her, she dumps him. Throughout the series, Alex works to find out who the stalker is and fights off Zach’s affections in the process. Thankfully, she has her two best friends to assist her in all this drama.

Personality

Alex can be very upset when someone betrays or turns on her, as shown in “The Bad Boy Broke My Heart...” Zach's secret about making a deal with his friend to make Alex fall in love with him got revealed. She is very close to her two best friends, Ashley and Angelica, and the three of them work together to uncover who the stalker is.

Alex is also shown to be very intelligent, as shown by the fact that she always scores the second-highest grade in the class. She is also carefree, bubbly, cheerful, sweet, somewhat ditzy, and overall energetic and happy-go-lucky. She is also portrayed as kind, loyal, honest, and selfless in episodes.

Relationships

Ashley

Alex and Ashley share a bond as best friends, and are always there for each other, such as when Ashley's secret about looking hideous without makeup gets revealed, and Alex comforts her. Another example is when Zach's secret gets revealed and Alex is deeply upset about it. Ashley and Angelica pay a visit to her apartment to cheer her up.

We later find out that Ashley was involved in stalking Alex in the beginning alongside Jax and Maria. She explains to Alex that at the beginning, Jax wanted to get revenge on Alex, Maria agreed to help and Ashley got roped into the plan. She also explains that she stopped after she got to know Alex, but that she was involved nonetheless.

Angelica

Angelica disliked the way Alex does things at first, but after both girls break up with Jax, the two girls start to warm up to each other and support each other. Sometimes Alex dislikes the way Angelica does things, while sometimes Angelica disagrees with Alex's ideas. However, when they put aside their differences, the two are good and close at first, usually calling him a 'jerk'. Zach often flirts with Alex and Alex gets annoyed by this. However, Alex soon realizes that she likes Zach, and the two eventually become boyfriend and girlfriend, but this soon stirs up jealousy between the girls who like Zach, and soon rumors start to surface about Alex and Zach.

Zach

Alex disliked the way Zach behaved at first, calling him a 'jerk' or "idiot". However, the two eventually have feelings for one another and become boyfriend and girlfriend until Zach's secret at the Valentine's Day Dance was revealed. Alex then begins to be cold towards Zach, which upsets him. Although, they did make up for it. Three years later, Zach and Alex got married and had a daughter named Diana.

Jax

Jax is Alex's ex-boyfriend. Alex broke up with him in “My Bully Read My Diary And Found Out My Secret...” as Jax was also dating Angelica. Alex was deeply hurt by this, but when she meets Jax while in the detention center in school, Jax confesses everything to Alex, saying that he 'wasn't a perfect match for Alex and everything else.

Alex soon warms up to Jax, but then their relationship turns strained once again as Alex is always thinking and hanging out with Zach. Jax is upset and jealous at this, and he always tries to keep Zach out of Alex's way, thus causing them to argue frequently.

Maria

Alex met Maria on several occasions. Both of them share a mutual distrust, and Maria usually threatens to reveal Alex's secret if Alex asks for more information regarding the stalker. It is later revealed that Maria is not only Ashley’s childhood best friend, but is also Jax’s first ex-girlfriend and his second in command in his master stalking plot.

• She was the one that suggested she, Ashley and Angelica form The Blonde Squad, as their hair was all blonde.
• Her eye color contrasts between pink or hazel, as the crying face she used in the 53rd episode “The Bad Boy Broke My Heart...” had pink eyes. In other episodes, she has hazel-colored eyes.
• Her favorite color is pink.
• Her name, Alex, means warrior.
• She shares many similarities with Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast:
